Translational Medicine Explored (TMex 2026), organised by EATRIS in Barcelona, is a four-day training programme designed for early-career researchers, particularly PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, who want to explore how scientific discoveries can be translated into solutions that improve people’s health.
Through interactive sessions, practical case studies and group activities, the course will cover key aspects of translational medicine, including patient engagement, treatment development, innovation, entrepreneurship and science communication. It will also provide opportunities to connect with professionals in the field and explore different career paths.
Joana Magalhães from SFC will lead the session “Communicating your science”, sharing tools and strategies to communicate research in a clear, accessible and engaging way, bringing science closer to society.
