Start of the PULSE-ART Arts-Based Learning Training Programme
Next Tuesday, May 5th, the PULSE-ART Arts-Based Learning Training starts. PULSE-ART is a European research project coordinated by Science For Change that aims to generate evidence on the impact of the arts in education for Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE).
The programme consists of six online sessions of 90 minutes each, distributed throughout the month of May, and is designed to support teachers, trainers, cultural professionals, and artists in the design, implementation, and evaluation of arts-based learning, with a special emphasis on critical thinking.
Each session is delivered in English and simultaneously in another language —Greek, French, Latvian, Spanish, or Dutch—. Participation is flexible, completely free of charge, and a certificate of attendance is issued for each completed session.
After this training, the programme will be implemented in seven case studies across six European countries and Morocco, each linked to a different artistic discipline: dance, music, video games, illustration, visual technology, and performing arts. The results will be openly available through the PULSE-ART Observatory.
The first module, dedicated to Cultural Awareness and Expression through the integration of the arts, will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, May 5th, from 17:00 to 18:30 CEST.
